A deliciously moist cinnamon bread with a sweet cinnamon sugar topping, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients

all-purpose flour

baking soda

cinnamon
Wet Ingredients

granulated sugar
1/2
cup
unsweetened applesauce or vegetable oil

eggs

vanilla extract

buttermilk or milk with vinegar
Topping

granulated sugar

cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two loaf pans.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat sugar and eggs, then add applesauce and vanilla. Combine with buttermilk.
Gradually add dry mixture to wet, then divide batter into pans. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over each.
Pour remaining batter over toppings, swirl gently. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
