Ingredients

Crust and Streusel

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats (for the streusel portion)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for the streusel portion)

Filling

  • 3 packages cream cheese (softened)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Apple topping

  • 3 Granny Smith apples peeled and finely chopped (about 3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare crust by mixing flour, brown sugar, and softened butter; press into a baking pan.
  • Beat cream cheese with sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth; spread over crust.
  • Mix chopped apples with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; layer over the cheesecake filling.
  • Combine oats, cinnamon, and remaining streusel ingredients; sprinkle over apples.
  • Bake for 40 minutes until set; drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
