A warm and nutritious breakfast combining oats, cinnamon, apples, and protein for a delicious start to your day.

Ingredients

Oats and liquids

  • 0.5 cup organic oats
  • 1 cup water or unsweetened milk

Add-ins

  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tbsp vanilla protein
  • 0.75 apple diced apple
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon (for topping)

Toppings

  • drizzle honey honey

Instructions 

  • Bring water or milk to a boil, add oats, and cook on low for 10 minutes with flax, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  • Remove oats from heat and stir in protein powder one tablespoon at a time.
  • Meanwhile, sauté diced apples in coconut oil and cinnamon for 10 minutes until tender.
  • Serve oats topped with apples, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Notes

Use fresh apples for best flavor and adjust honey to taste.
