A flavorful and easy-to-make baked cod dish seasoned with Cajun spices and topped with garlic butter, perfect for a quick dinner.

  • 4 filets cod filets
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 lemon lemon (sliced into rounds)

Chopped parsley (to garnish)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat dry cod filets and season with pepper and salt.
  • Mix melted butter, olive oil, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and garlic.
  • Arrange lemon slices in baking dish, place cod on top, and pour sauce over.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until opaque, then garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Serve with extra lemon slices for added flavor.
