Delicious grilled chicken skewers coated in a spicy, creamy bang bang sauce, perfect for a flavorful appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

For the Chicken Skewers

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 garlic cloves minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Wooden or metal skewers

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Garnish (optional)

  • to taste Chopped fresh cilantro
  • to taste Sesame seeds
  • to taste Sliced green onions

Instructions 

  • Marinate chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and black pepper for at least 20 minutes.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  • Whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, chili sauce, honey, and lime juice to make the sauce.
  • Thread chicken onto skewers and grill over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked and charred.
  • Serve skewers with sauce drizzled on top or as a dip. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, or cilantro if desired.

Notes

Adjust spice levels by varying sriracha amount.
