A quick and flavorful flatbread pizza topped with smoky BBQ chicken, cheese, and fresh herbs, perfect for a casual meal.

Ingredients

Flatbreads

  • 2 pieces flatbreads or naan breads
  • 1.5 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 0.5 cup BBQ sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded smoked Gouda or cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • to taste jalapeño slices or red pepper flakes (Optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Toss cooked chicken with BBQ sauce. Spread flatbreads with BBQ sauce and top with chicken, cheese, red onion, and optional jalapeños.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are crispy.
  • Remove from oven, drizzle with extra BBQ sauce, and sprinkle with cilantro. Slice and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of red pepper flakes or jalapeño slices before baking.
