Delicious and easy-to-make sliders featuring tender pulled chicken coated in smoky BBQ sauce, perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 pieces slider buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw
  • to taste sliced pickles
  • optional fresh cilantro

Instructions 

  • Mix spices and rub over chicken thighs.
  • Sear chicken in olive oil until golden, then add broth, cover, and simmer 25-30 mins.
  • Shred cooked chicken, return to pan, add BBQ sauce, and cook 5-10 mins.
  • Assemble sliders with chicken, coleslaw, pickles, and cilantro if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the buns before assembling.
