A quick and flavorful rice bowl featuring seasoned ground beef, colorful bell peppers, and fresh green onions, perfect for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients

uncooked white rice
(rinsed until water runs clear)

Vegetables

red bell pepper
diced red bell pepper

green onions

(plus extra for garnish)
Aromatics & Sauces

garlic, minced

soy sauce

brown sugar

Instructions
Rinse rice until water runs clear, then cook with 2 cups water until tender, about 15 minutes, then let sit covered for 5 minutes.
In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add diced bell pepper, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper to the beef. Cook for 3-4 minutes until peppers are tender.
Fluff cooked rice, serve in bowls topped with beef mixture, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or chili flakes.
