Ingredients

Rice

  • 1 cup Nasi putih

Eggs

  • 2 pieces Telur mata sapi

Beef

  • 250 grams sapi has dalam iris tipis

Garlic

  • 2 cloves bawput cincang

Onion

  • 1/2 piece bawang bombay iris

Green Onion

  • 1 stalk daun bawang iris

Soy Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons kecap asin

Sesame Oil

  • 1 teaspoon minyak wijen

Oyster Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon saus tiram

Sugar

  • 1 tablespoon gula pasir (or to taste)

Mirin

  • 1 tablespoon mirin (optional, can skip)

Sesame Seeds

  • 1 teaspoon wijen sangrai (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Cook rice until tender and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  • Add beef and cook until browned, then stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and mirin.
  • Fry eggs sunny side up.
  • Assemble rice in bowls, top with beef mixture, fried eggs, and garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor. Adjust seasoning to taste.
