Instructions
Marinate the beef: Toss beef slices with cornstarch, soy sauce, and sesame oil; let sit for 15 minutes.
Stir-fry vegetables: Heat 1 tbsp oil, cook garlic and ginger 30 seconds, add bell peppers and peas, stir for 3-4 minutes.
Cook beef: Push vegetables aside, add beef, cook 3-4 minutes until browned.
Add sauces: Mix in oyster and hoisin sauces, cook 2 minutes.
Prepare rice: Heat 2 tbsp oil, stir-fry frozen vegetables 2-3 minutes, scramble egg if using, then add rice and soy sauce, stir for 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
Notes
Use day-old rice for best texture and flavor.
