A delicious and easy-to-make breakfast casserole featuring flaky croissants and fresh berries, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Croissants and Berries

  • 4 large croissants, broken into small pieces (pre-baked, not raw dough)
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1 block 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  • Layer half of croissant pieces and berries in the dish, then repeat.
  • Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs, milk, vanilla, and whisk.
  • Pour mixture over layers, let sit 10–15 mins, then bake 35–40 mins until golden.
  • Cool slightly before serving; optionally dust with powdered sugar or drizzle syrup.

Notes

For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese.
