Berry Iced Tea with Ginger and Mint

A refreshing and fruity iced tea infused with ginger and mint, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Water

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional)
  • 1 inch ginger (peeled and sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons loose berry tea or tea bags (We Are Tea Super Berry)
  • 1 lemon lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon)
  • 10 raspberries raspberries
  • 10 blueberries blueberries
  • 5 strawberries strawberries (halved)
  • 15 mint leaves mint leaves (lightly crushed)
  • ½ lemon lemon slices (thinly sliced)
  • to taste ice cubes ice cubes

Instructions 

  • Bring water to a boil, add sugar and ginger, stir until dissolved.
  • Remove from heat, add tea, steep for 5 minutes, then strain and cool.
  • Stir in lemon juice, adjust sweetness or tartness as desired.
  • Fill glasses or jug with ice, add fruit and mint, pour cooled tea, and serve chilled.

Notes

Use fresh fruit for best flavor and serve immediately.
