This quick and flavorful blackened tilapia recipe delivers crispy, juicy fish in just 15 minutes, perfect for a fast and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Fish

  • 4 pieces Tilapia Fish
  • 2 tbsp N’Orleans Cajun Seasoning (more if needed)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil (more if needed)
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter (more if needed)
  • Optional Fresh lemon juice (Optional)
  • 2 tbsp Savory Thoughts Spicy Chipotle Seasoning (optional but recommended)

Instructions 

  • Mix Cajun seasoning and other spices in a small bowl. Pat dry fish and coat with seasoning. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add fish and cook for 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Repeat with remaining fish.
  • Serve warm with lemon if desired.
