Buttered pasta with spinach, basil, lemon and tilapia

A flavorful and healthy dish combining tender pasta, fresh spinach and basil, zesty lemon, and perfectly baked tilapia.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 1 box pasta of your choice (for 4-5 servings)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 4 portions tilapia
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Melt 1.5 tbsp butter, fry garlic 2 min, then bake tilapia with lemon zest, salt, and pepper for 20 min.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • In a skillet, melt remaining butter, cook spinach 2 min, add basil and cook 1 min, then season with lemon zest, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Combine cooked pasta with the spinach mixture, serve with tilapia on top, and sprinkle Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor and adjust seasoning to taste.
