  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillet (about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds)
  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 large onion (cut into thick wedges)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, spices, and seasonings.
  • Place salmon in dish, brush with half of the butter mixture.
  • Toss shrimp and onion with remaining butter, arrange around salmon.
  • Bake 18-22 minutes, broil 1-2 minutes for color, then garnish with parsley and lemon.
