Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 24 oz cod fish fillets (cut in half)
  • 3 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 tbsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions 

  • Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Wash and dry the fish, then dredge in the spice mix.
  • Preheat pan, add butter, then cook fish 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.

Notes

Use fresh spices for best flavor and adjust cayenne to taste.
