A fresh and flavorful pasta salad featuring cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and a balsamic glaze dressing, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 ounces Pasta (fusilli, bowtie, or penne recommended)

Cherry tomatoes

  • 2 cups Cherry tomatoes, halved

Fresh mozzarella balls

  • 1 cup Fresh mozzarella balls, drained (bocconcini or ciliegine)

Fresh basil

  • ½ cup Fresh basil, roughly chopped

Extra virgin olive oil

  • ¼ cup Extra virgin olive oil

Balsamic glaze

  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic glaze

Garlic

  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

Salt and pepper

  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and let cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped basil.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic glaze, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss to combine.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
