A delicious pork steak recipe stuffed with a cheesy filling and seasoned to perfection, then roasted to juicy tenderness.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 4 pieces pork steaks (boneless)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 sprigs rosemary (finely chopped)
  • 2 sprigs thyme (finely chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons mustard (Dijon)
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat dry pork steaks and cut pockets in each. Mix grated cheeses and stuff into pockets.
  • Chop herbs and mince garlic. Mix salt, pepper, paprika, herbs, and garlic. Rub mustard over steaks and season with the spice mix.
  • Lightly oil a baking dish, place stuffed steaks inside, and roast for 25-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
