A delicious one-pan meal featuring ziti pasta, ground beef, and melted mozzarella cheese.

2cupsziti pasta(cooked see notes)

1lbground beef
Seasonings
1tbsextra-virgin olive oil
1/2tsppepper
3clovesgarlic(minced)
1tspcrushed red chili flakes(optional)
1tbsworcestershire sauce
2tbstomato paste
1onionchopped
1/2cupchopped parsley(plus more for garnish)
2cupsshredded mozzarella
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Drain without rinsing.
In a skillet, heat olive oil and brown beef for 2 minutes. Reduce heat, season, and add garlic, onion, chili flakes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, parsley, and reserved water. Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
Toss in pasta and 1 cup mozzarella. Top with remaining cheese, cover, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For best results, do not rinse the pasta after cooking.
