A creamy and flavorful Chicken Alfredo Pasta perfect for a comforting meal. Ready in under an hour, it's a family favorite.
Ingredients

heavy cream

freshly grated Parmesan cheese

fettuccine or your favorite pasta

Instructions
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet with olive oil for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Rest and slice into strips.
Melt butter in the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, simmer, then whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat, adding reserved water if needed for desired consistency.
Plate the pasta, garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
