A creamy, cheesy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and rich Alfredo sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Dried Pasta

  • 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine

Chicken

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts

Cheese and Dairy

  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened) (about half a block of Philly)
  • 1 cup heavy/whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Other ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste Salt & pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 2 large cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions 

  • Soften the cream cheese and grate the parmesan cheese. Cook the pasta until al dente.
  • Cook the seasoned chicken in a skillet with olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, add cream cheese, cream, chicken broth, and garlic. Simmer until the sauce thickens, then stir in parmesan.
  • Slice the cooked chicken into strips, add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss, and top with chicken. Season with salt and pepper as needed.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle additional parmesan on top before serving.
