A creamy, cheesy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and rich Alfredo sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
Dried Pasta
8ouncesuncooked fettuccine
Chicken
2largeboneless skinless chicken breasts
Cheese and Dairy
1cupfreshly grated parmesan cheese
4ouncescream cheese (softened)(about half a block of Philly)
1cupheavy/whipping cream
1/4cupchicken broth
Other ingredients
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
Salt & pepperto tasteSalt & pepper
1tablespoonolive oil
3tablespoonsbutter (divided)
2large clovesgarlic (minced)
Instructions
Soften the cream cheese and grate the parmesan cheese. Cook the pasta until al dente.
Cook the seasoned chicken in a skillet with olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, add cream cheese, cream, chicken broth, and garlic. Simmer until the sauce thickens, then stir in parmesan.
Slice the cooked chicken into strips, add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss, and top with chicken. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle additional parmesan on top before serving.
