Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with liners or grease.
Mix mashed bananas and sugar in a bowl. Add melted butter, milk, and egg; stir well.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and vanilla extract. Divide batter among muffin cups.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in tin 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
For extra moist muffins, do not overmix the batter.
