Delight in these creamy banana pudding parfaits layered with vanilla wafers and fresh bananas for a perfect dessert.

Ingredients

Eggs

  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 30 pieces vanilla wafers
  • whipped cream whipped cream (for garnish)
  • sliced bananas sliced bananas (for garnish)
  • additional vanilla wafers additional vanilla wafers (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Separate 3 eggs, add one whole egg, and set whites aside.
  • Combine sugars, flour, and salt in a pot; stir in eggs, milk, and cream. Cook until thickened, then add vanilla.
  • Cool slightly, then crush wafers and layer in glasses with pudding, bananas, and wafers. Garnish with whipped cream, banana slices, and wafers.

Notes

Chill the parfaits before serving for best flavor.
