Ingredients

Breakfast

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Mashed bananas (for banana bread)
  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree (for pumpkin bread)
  • 3 tablespoons Peach jam (for spread)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Add wet ingredients and stir until combined.
  • Pour batter into a greased baking dish or form into scones.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving or spreading with jam.

Notes

Use ripe bananas and fresh pumpkin for best flavor.
