Ingredients

Dairy & Fats

  • 4 Tbsp Butter (Use vegan butter or ghee for a dairy-free option.)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper (Freshly ground for a touch of warmth.)
  • 1 tsp Paprika (Adds a hint of color and subtle smoky depth.)
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes (Optional for a whisper of heat.)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Freshly minced is key for that irresistible aromatic punch!)

Cream & Broth

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (Or Half-and-Half for a lighter touch.)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (Freshly grated melts beautifully.)
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice (Optional to brighten everything up.)
  • 1/2 cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth (Optional to thin the sauce.)

Main

  • 4 cups Cooked Rice (Warm, fluffy jasmine, brown, or cauliflower rice for a low-carb delight.)

Instructions 

  • Sauté shrimp in butter with garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes until pink. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add cream, broth, Parmesan, and lemon juice; simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Return shrimp to the pan, toss to coat, and heat through.
  • Serve over warm rice, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with olive oil and use coconut cream.
