Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook in olive oil until browned; remove and set aside.
Sauté mushrooms and garlic in butter until mushrooms are tender.
Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, and thyme; simmer until slightly thickened.
Return chicken to the sauce, add cooked pasta, and toss to combine. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, sauté some onions with the garlic.
