Enjoy soft, warm homemade dinner rolls with this simple recipe perfect for any meal.
Ingredients

all-purpose flour

active dry yeast

granulated sugar

salt

whole milk
1/4

water
1/4

unsalted butter, melted

large egg

melted butter
Instructions
Combine 1 cup of flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Warm milk, water, and melted butter; add to dry ingredients, then mix in the egg.
Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough, then knead for 6–8 minutes.
Let dough rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Divide dough, shape into balls, place in a baking dish, and let rise. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes.
Brush with melted butter and serve warm.
Notes
For softer rolls, brush with butter immediately after baking.
