Delicious and healthy turkey lettuce wraps topped with fresh cilantro lime crema, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1.5 lbs lean ground turkey (93/7)
  • 1 cup diced red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons ancho chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.5 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup cilantro
  • 1 each lime (about 2 tablespoons juice)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • to taste salt & pepper
  • 1 each avocado, diced
  • 0.25 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 10-12 leaves Butter Lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro

Instructions 

  • Blend garlic, Greek yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper until smooth; set aside.
  • Saute onion in avocado oil until translucent, then add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  • Cook ground turkey until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add spices and stir to combine.
  • Serve turkey on lettuce leaves topped with avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, and crema.

Use fresh ingredients for best flavor and serve immediately.
