A flavorful and easy-to-make dish combining tender beef, fragrant garlic butter rice, and peas for a satisfying meal.

1poundbeef sirloin, thinly sliced into strips

3tablespoonsunsalted butter, divided
6clovesgarlic, minced
1cuplong-grain white rice, rinsed
2cupslow-sodium beef or chicken broth
1teaspoonsoy sauce
1cupfrozen peas
2tablespoonschopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season beef with salt and pepper, then cook for 4-5 minutes until browned. Transfer to a plate.
Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet, then cook minced garlic for 30-60 seconds until fragrant. Stir in rice and toast for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in broth and soy sauce, bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes until rice is tender.
Stir in frozen peas and remaining butter, cover, and let sit off heat for 3-5 minutes. Return beef to skillet, toss gently, and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and serve.
