A delicious and hearty pasta dish featuring tender steak and a flavorful garlic butter sauce.

Steak

sirloin steak
(or ribeye/new york strip)
Garlic

Butter and Oil

red pepper flakes

reserved pasta water
Instructions
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil for 3–4 minutes per side. Let rest.
Melt butter in the same pan, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Stir in red pepper flakes.
Add pasta to the pan and toss with garlic butter, using reserved pasta water to loosen.
Slice rested steak thinly against the grain.
Plate pasta, top with steak, and garnish with parsley and Parmesan. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the steak marinate for a few hours before cooking.
