A flavorful and easy-to-make dinner featuring seasoned ground beef, roasted garlic feta sauce, and fresh vegetables wrapped in warm flatbreads.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 2 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Roasted Garlic Feta Sauce

  • 1 head garlic (cut top off, roast)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for garlic
  • 4 oz feta cheese
  • 1 2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Wraps and Vegetables

  • 4 large flatbreads or pita wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1 4 cup thinly sliced red onion

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30-35 minutes until soft. Let cool slightly and squeeze out the cloves.
  • Blend roasted garlic, feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and black pepper in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, oregano, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, then remove from heat.
  • Warm the flatbreads or pita wraps according to package instructions. Assemble the wraps by spreading the garlic feta sauce over each, then topping with beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Roll up tightly and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like parsley or dill to the sauce.
