A refreshing and nutrient-packed green smoothie to energize your day with a zing of ginger.

Ingredients

Vegetables and Fruits

  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves (packed)
  • 1 cup kale leaves (stems removed)
  • 1 medium green apple (cored and chopped)
  • 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 0.5 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup cold water or unsweetened coconut water
  • 0.5 lemon juice of lemon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 4-6 ice cubes ice cubes

Instructions 

  • Add spinach, kale, apple, banana, pineapple, water, lemon juice, ginger, and chia seeds to blender.
  • Blend until smooth, then add ice and blend again until frothy.
  • Taste and add extra lemon or water if needed.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen fruit for a colder smoothie or fresh for a room-temperature drink.
