A quick and hearty dish combining ground beef, fresh cabbage, and vegetables, perfect for a fast weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Meat and Vegetables

lean ground beef

medium cabbage (chopped)

medium carrot (grated or julienned)

tomato sauce or paste

beef broth (or vegetable broth)

paprika (regular or smoked)

vegetable oil for cooking
Instructions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef with salt and pepper until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until translucent. Stir in grated carrot and cook until soft.
Add tomato sauce and broth, simmer for 2-3 minutes. Then add cabbage, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir well.
Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender, about 5 minutes. Return beef to skillet, stir, and serve hot.
Notes
For a crunchier cabbage, cook for less time. Adjust seasoning to taste.
