  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 medium tomato (diced)
  • 1 cup Iceberg lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 cup Medium cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • to taste Sour cream or yogurt
  • as needed Cilantro
  • as needed Crunchy corn taco shells or soft flour or corn tortillas
  • for garnish Limes (optional)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onion until translucent (~3-5 min).
  • Add ground beef and garlic; cook until about 90% done.
  • Stir in spices; cook for 2-3 more minutes, then adjust salt to taste.
