Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 heaping tablespoon tomato paste
  • to taste Salt & pepper Salt & pepper
  • as needed Toppings flour or corn tortillas (for serving)
  • optional Toppings sour cream, avocado, cilantro, salsa, hot sauce, onions, cheese, etc. (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Cook the turkey with spices in olive oil until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Stir in tomato paste and season with salt & pepper.
  • Assemble tacos with tortillas and toppings, then serve.

Notes

Use fresh toppings for best flavor.
