Enjoy a nutritious and easy-to-make breakfast with these wholesome oatmeal bars packed with natural sweetness and flavor.

Ingredients

Dried ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/2 cup mashed banana or applesauce
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup nuts or seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix oats, sweetener, nut butter, banana/applesauce, cinnamon, and vanilla until combined.
  • Fold in nuts/seeds and dried fruit or chocolate chips if desired.
  • Press mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
