A delicious one-pan meal featuring tender chicken, flavorful rice, and a sweet BBQ sauce.
Ingredients

chicken pieces or fillets

long-grain rice
Liquids

chicken broth

bbq sauce

honey
Spices

garlic powder

Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Season chicken with spices and sear for 3-4 minutes per side.
Toast rice in the same pan for 1-2 minutes, then add broth, BBQ sauce, and honey.
Return chicken to the pan, bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes.
Add mixed vegetables, cover, and cook for 5 more minutes.
Let sit for 5 minutes, fluff rice, garnish, and serve hot!
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for a few hours before cooking.
