A quick and flavorful skillet dish featuring tender chicken in a tangy honey lemon sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Chicken

boneless, skinless chicken breasts
(about 6 ounces each)

black pepper

olive oil

garlic, minced

fresh lemon juice
(about 2 lemons)

honey
1/2
cup
low sodium chicken broth

lemon zest

unsalted butter

tablespoons
chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5-6 mins per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Sauté garlic in skillet 30 seconds. Add lemon juice, honey, and broth; simmer.
Add lemon zest, simmer 3-4 mins. Stir in butter until glossy.
Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, cook 2 mins. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken in lemon and honey mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
