Delicious salmon tacos glazed with honey and lime, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 5 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Main

  • 1 pound salmon filet
  • 8 tortillas taco-sized corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • hot sauce / salsa optional hot sauce or salsa (used as topping)
  • sour cream optional sour cream
  • cilantro leaves optional cilantro

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Whisk together lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper for the glaze.
  • Season salmon with salt and pepper. Sear in oil until golden, then flip and pour glaze over. Transfer to oven and cook until flaky (~15 min).
  • While salmon cooks, prepare toppings and warm tortillas.
  • Flake salmon, spoon glaze over, and assemble tacos with toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh cilantro and hot sauce.
