This creamy Chicken Alfredo combines tender chicken with rich, cheesy sauce for a comforting and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper (freshly ground preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Pasta

  • 8 ounces Fettuccine or linguine (or whole wheat/gluten-free)

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream (or half-and-half/low-fat milk)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, then set aside.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter, add heavy cream, and simmer until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  • Slice cooked chicken and add to the sauce along with cooked pasta. Toss to combine and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a healthier option, use whole wheat pasta and low-fat milk.
