Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Cod (Choose fresh or thawed for best texture)

Dairy

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (Key for that creamy, rich base)

  • 1 cup Heavy cream (Adds silky texture)

  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (Brightens the sauce)

Instructions 

  • Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the fillets until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Remove the fish and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Return the cod to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
