A quick and flavorful seafood dish featuring succulent shrimp in a zesty lemon butter garlic sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Shrimp

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off as preferred)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon lemon, juice and zest
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • for garnish Lemon slices
  • for serving Cooked rice or pasta

Instructions 

  • Rinse and dry the shrimp, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat, then sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet, cook for 2 minutes until pink, then flip.
  • Add remaining butter, lemon juice, zest, and red pepper flakes; cook for 1-2 minutes until coated and cooked through.
  • Remove from heat, stir in parsley, and serve immediately with rice or pasta, garnished with lemon slices.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or a pinch of paprika.
