A delightful pastry combining creamy lemon filling and flaky puff pastry, topped with a sweet glaze for a perfect treat.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 sheet Frozen puff pastry (thawed)

Filling

  • 4 ounces Cream cheese (softened)
  • 0.25 cup Confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 lemons Lemons (Zest and set aside 1 teaspoon)
  • 2.5 ounces Lemon Curd

Egg Wash

  • 1 egg Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Glaze

  • 0.5 cup Confectioner’s sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix cream cheese, confectioner’s sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth. Prepare egg wash with egg and water.
  • Unfold puff pastry, spread cream cheese mixture and lemon curd on the middle, then fold edges and create lattice pattern.
  • Brush with egg wash, bake for 20 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
  • Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled pastry before serving.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
