Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest

Instructions

  • Mix dry ingredients and poppy seeds in a bowl.
  • Rub lemon zest into sugar until fragrant, then add eggs and whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in yogurt, oil, lemon juice, and vanilla, then fold in dry ingredients gently.
  • Pour batter into pan and bake for 50 minutes. Cool and drizzle with lemon glaze.
