Ingredients

Pasta

  • 16 oz rigatoni/pasta
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves, finely chopped

  • 1 lb salmon fillet

Instructions 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  • Season salmon with salt and pepper, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes.
  • Drain pasta and toss with garlic, olive oil, basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Add lemon juice, zest, and capers; toss to combine.
  • Flake the cooked salmon and gently mix into the pasta.
  • Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese.
