A delicious twist on classic nachos, loaded onto crispy fries with seasoned beef and cheesy toppings.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen French fries
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss fries with oil, salt, and pepper; bake 20 minutes until crispy.
  • Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned; add taco seasoning and water, simmer 5 minutes.
  • Transfer fries to a platter, top with seasoned beef, then sprinkle cheeses. Broil 2-3 minutes until melted.
  • Add tomatoes, jalapeños, green onions, olives; finish with sour cream and cilantro.

Notes

For extra flavor, add hot sauce or extra jalapeños.
