Delight in these flaky, sweet scones infused with maple syrup and topped with crunchy pecans for a perfect breakfast treat.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet.
Mix dry ingredients: whisk flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon.
Cut in cold butter until coarse crumbs form.
Whisk together wet ingredients: brown sugar, cream, egg, vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients, shape into a circle, cut into 8 wedges.
Optional: freeze scones 15-30 mins. Bake for 15-16 mins until golden.
Make glaze: melt butter with maple syrup, mix in powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread on cooled scones and garnish with pecans.
Notes
For best flavor, serve fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
