A rich and moist vanilla pound cake that's perfect for any occasion.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 170°C (325°F). Grease and line a loaf tin.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs gradually; if curdling, add a spoonful of flour.
Mix in half the milk and flour, then repeat with remaining milk and flour. Pour into tin.
Bake for 60-65 minutes until a skewer comes out clean. Cool before serving.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the batter for a tender crumb.
