No Bake Coconut Chocolate Oat Bars

These easy, no-bake bars combine coconut, chocolate, and oats for a crunchy, sweet treat perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

Dairy and Sweeteners

  • 170 g butter
  • 80 ml milk
  • 67 g light brown sugar
  • 250 g chocolate chips or chocolate bars (Total 250g, can use hazelnut and dark chocolate bars)
  • 5 ml vanilla

Dry Ingredients

  • 240 g rolled oats
  • 40 g unsweetened shredded coconut (1 3/4 cups)
  • 30 g Rice Krispies

Instructions 

  • Line a pan with parchment paper and lightly grease the sides.
  • Melt butter, milk, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth using microwave or double boiler.
  • Add chocolate and stir until melted into the mixture.
  • Mix in oats, coconut, and Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  • Press mixture into the prepared pan and refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.
  • Slice into bars and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Notes

For faster setting, place the pan in the freezer instead of the refrigerator.
