A quick and hearty one-pan meal combining ground meat, peppers, and rice for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients

ground beef or turkey
Vegetables

bell peppers
bell peppers (mixed colors, diced)

medium onion (diced)

rice (white or brown)

crushed tomatoes

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
Add diced onions and peppers; cook until vegetables are tender.
Stir in rice, crushed tomatoes, water, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
Optional: Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover, and cook until melted. Garnish with parsley or chili flakes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute the meat with beans or vegetables.
